I’ve never read Anxy before. What should I expect?

Anxy is about getting people together to acknowledge and normalize the experiences we have with our emotions, like anxiety or sadness. Maybe you read a really compelling story that helps you understand how you’re feeling, or that same article helps you connect with a friend better because you understand more what they’re going through. The goal is to create a space where these conversations are possible.

Why is Anxy a print magazine?

There are many great conversations about mental health and wellness all over the internet, but they pop up then disappear in a flash, and are surrounded by a bunch of digital junk food. More often than not, we don’t have time to process the thoughts or feelings we have in response to what we’re reading before moving on to the next content. To address this, we wanted to create a tactile collection of conversations around these important issues that you could really sit with for months at a time. Our aim has been to produce an artful publication that can feel at home on your coffee table, beside your bed, on a bookshelf—or even in your therapist’s waiting room.

I just pledged as a gift for someone else. How do I make sure it gets to them?

You’ll be receiving an email survey when the campaign is finished, and you’ll provide us with the shipping information so we know where to send your rewards. Just make sure the information you give us is up-to-date and we’ll handle the rest! Alternatively, you’re welcome to request that we donate a copy to a nonprofit on your behalf.

When am I going to get my rewards?

You’ll receive the best of your rewards as soon as you back our project—good vibes and our eternal gratitude! As for the tangible rewards… Everyone should receive theirs by the end of December. If you haven’t received your rewards by 2019, nudge us and ask us what the deal is. Chances are they got lost in the mail and we’d love to resolve the issue for you.

I supported your last campaign and I still haven’t received my reward(s). So, what’s the deal?

Yikes. This is awkward… Honestly, all of the rewards for the Boundaries campaign have been shipped and you should have received your items by now. If there’s still something you haven’t received yet, please let us know at [email protected]. Make sure to include the name and address associated with your Kickstarter account. Help us, help you.

Do you ship internationally?

We do! Though, please be aware, we’re not tracking international packages at this time, and they can sometimes take 6-8 weeks to arrive once they’ve been shipped. There can also be additional local taxes and customs fees—see the next FAQ for more on that.

Will I be charged additional fees when I receive my rewards?

If you live outside of the US, your rewards may incur customs fees as they enter your country. All fees and import duties are charged once packages reach their destination country, and Anxy is not responsible for paying them. We wish there was a way around these extra costs, but until there is, we appreciate your understanding and support.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
